Jack Parker is an architectural researcher, designer and animator whose investigative practice examines the agencies of both human and non-human actors within ecological systems, situating digital spatial analysis and reconstruction techniques within connecting branches of science and media. His design thesis, a critical analysis of ecological traps, sought to instigate a form of collateral ecological awareness embedded in contemporary mass media consumption. This project was long-listed for the Terra Carta Design Lab and exhibited at Dubai Design Week 2023.
Jack holds an BA in Architecture from the University of Brighton and an MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art. Prior to joining Forensic Architecture, he has practiced architecture in London and collaborated as an animator on an internationally exhibited film exploring the links between bodies, buildings, health and architecture.
